Fiala earns second-straight NCAA Singles bid

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - For the second-straight year, Coe junior Molly Fiala (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Jefferson) will be participating in the NCAA Singles Tournament. Fiala was one of 32 chosen for the tournament, while being the only player from an Iowa Conference school taken.

Fiala, a three-time Iowa Conference MVP, was defeated in the first round of last year's tournament. Her appearance in this year's tournament marks just the second time a Coe women's tennis player has qualified for the tournament.

Fiala will take her 24-5 record into the tournament, scheduled for May 16-18 at the Swanson Tennis Center in Saint Peter, Minn. Gustavus Adolphus is the host school for this year's tournament.
