Two Kohawks place in top 15 at NCAA Regionals
NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Freshman Ashley
Schnell (Lincoln, Neb./NorthStar) and junior Brad
O'Neil (Stuarts Draft, Vir./Stuarts Draft) led
the Kohawks at the NCAA Regional today hosted by St. Olaf.
Schnell finished in 10th place, the highest NCAA Regional
placewinner for the Kohawks since Jenna Boerboom in 2003.
Schnell helped the women's team to a 19th place finish overall.
O'Neil finished 14th overall in a time of
25:48. O'Neil's 14th place finish is the highest at the
NCAA Regionals for any Kohawk since Todd Henecke's 13th
place finish in 1992. The men's team placed 14th overall,
the highest NCAA Regional finish in school history.
