sixth in doubles (34), and 16th in batting average (.329).

McCabe, a four-year letterwinner in wrestling, had a record of 77-24 at Coe, including a seventh place finish at nationals (All-American) in 2005 and a fifth place finish in nationals (All-American) in 2006. He was an NWCA Scholar All-American and earned two first-place finishes and one second-place finish at the Coe Invitational during his wrestling career.

Funded by Coe alumnus John Strohm '79 and his wife, Mary Pat Link, the Bremner award is given annually to the college's top male and female athletes. The award was named after Barron Bremner following his retirement after a Hall of Fame career as Coe coach and athletics director.
