A full-tuition award and multiple $28,000 per year awards. A minimum 3.0 cumulative college GPA and enrollment at a community college is required for consideration. Full-Tuition winners must maintain good social standing, satisfactory academic progress for annual review and residential status (four years). This is available to first time degree seeking students who are U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents.
Note: Winners of Full-Tuition Scholarships for Community College Students are not eligible for any other Coe funded financial aid.
Awards valued up to $25,000 per year. A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA from an accredited college or university and at least 4 course credits (16 semester hours) in transfer credit are required for consideration. This scholarship is awarded at the time of admission.
Awards valued up to $26,000 per year. A minimum 3.0 cumulative college GPA and completion of an Associate of Arts degree from Kirkwood Community College is required for consideration. This scholarship is awarded at the time of admission.
Awards valued up to $15,000 per year. Crimson grants are based on a cumulative college GPA from an accredited college or university and will be awarded at the time of admission.
Award valued at $1,000. Phi Theta Kappa scholars receive this award in addition to any merit-based scholarship for which he or she qualifies.
Awards valued up to $1,000 per year. Auditions and interviews with art, film studies, music and theatre faculty are open to majors and non-majors alike. The Music Department also awards a variety of other scholarships ranging up to full tuition.
Awards valued at $500 and $1,000, respectively. Siblings of current Coe students or siblings of Coe graduates are eligible to receive $500 annually. Children with parents or grandparents who are Coe alumni are eligible to receive $1,000 annually.
Several full- and partial-tuition scholarships will be awarded. Finalists are invited to interview or audition on campus.
Note: Winners of Williston Jones Scholarships valued at $35,000 or more are not eligible for any other Coe funded financial aid.
Award valued at $7,600. To be considered, a student must have graduated from an Iowa high school or been an Iowa resident for the last five years. Students must also have reached junior status in credits and possess a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA.
