Why did you choose Coe?
I really wanted a small, private school with a small number
of students in a bigger town.
What do you like best about Coe?
I love the friendly people and atmosphere of Coe. It is
so easy to make friends that I know I'll have for the rest of
my life.
What
do you do for fun on the weekends?
Go out to eat, shop, go to the movies, theme parties with my
sorority, just anything with my friends!
What is your favorite class and why?
I love my french class because there aren't a lot of students
and we're all friends with each other. The professor is
also extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs.
What has been your favorite memory at Coe?
It's hard to pick just one, but the 'Running of the Stairs' when
I joined Tri-Delta was so much fun.
Who is your favorite professor?
Gina Hausknecht. She makes it enjoyable to come to class. She
is a brilliant professor that connects with students.
How was your transition from high school
to Coe?
The first few weeks were a little rough, simply because I didn't
know anybody. But Orientation Week really helped and
I got into the swing of things once class started.
What do you like most about Cedar Rapids?
There is an awesome sushi place on 1st Avenue! Besides
that, there's more places to eat, shop, and hang out.
