Why did you choose Coe?
I chose Coe because the entire idea of Coe was perfect for me. I loved the campus, it was close to home, and the class size was perfect. Every time I had trouble or everywhere I went on my visit to Coe there was someone that was willing to help me.

What do you like best about Coe?
I love the classes at Coe. The professors really care if you know and understand the subject and go out of their way to help you. The class sizes are perfect. Having classes that aren't large helps me understand the subject.

Katy HeaterWhat do you do for fun on the weekends?
There is always something to do on campus. Whether it is a dance at the P.U.B., a late-night movie, or ice skating, there is always something fun happening on campus.

What is your favorite class and why?
My favorite class is English Lit. that I am taking this semester. I love the professor, Melissa Sodeman, and I love talking about all the different plays we read.

What has been your favorite memory at Coe?
Orientation Week! The first week of school was freshman orientation and that was so much fun! All the activities they had planned to get us ready for college were perfect for meeting meet new people. The best part, Dragon Boat racing!

Who is your favorite professor?
Melissa Sodeman is my favorite professor because I love her class. It is such a creative class and really lets you analyze and think. Professor Sodeman is great with all her students and makes sure everyone knows what they are doing.

How was your transition from high school to Coe?
Wonderful! Freshman Orientation and the people here made the transition easy. The environment was warm and welcoming which was a perfect position to be in after leaving home.

What do you like most about Cedar Rapids?
