What are your extracurricular interests?
Coe Swim Team, Sunday Night Live, Campus Bible Study
Why did you choose Coe?
I chose Coe because it is a small school with a prestigious science
department. Coe emphasizes studying abroad and has a swimming
program. I fell in love with Coe the first time I visited. Everyone
I passed on my tour smiled and said hi, and I felt like they
really wanted me to come to Coe.
What do you like best about Coe?
I like that it is a small community. Everyday I walk to my
classes and see a friendly face, but I also meet new people all
the time.
What
do you do for fun on the weekends?
Usually on the weekends I will watch movies with a group of
people or go around and meet new people.
What is your favorite class and why?
My favorite class is Genetics. It is what I am interested in
and our professor keeps it from being boring.
What has been your favorite memory at Coe?
I had a lot of fun at the Homecoming dance, which is held at
the U.S. Cellular Center. It was a night full of fun with new
friends that I will never forget.
Who is your favorite professor?
I don't really have a favorite professor yet, I'm only a first-year.
How was your transition from high school
to Coe?
My transition was really smooth. Unlike some of my other high
school friends, I met people at Coe the first week that I know
will be my friends forever. Coe makes it really easy to meet
people who will be compatible to you.
What do you like most about Cedar Rapids?
I love that Cedar Rapids has so many things to do, and I especially
love the variety of restaurants there are to eat at! |
