Application Process
- Submit a completed International Application for admission, either online or download a printable version to mail in. No application fee required.
- Submit an essay describing what you expect to gain from an overseas Coe College educational experience
- Provide an official, certified copy of all secondary school work (mark sheets) translated into English with all courses/grades listed, along with an explanation of the grading system.
- Provide a certified copy of all national examination results (e.g. ‘O' level, HSC, SLC, etc.)
- Official test scores:
- For students whose first language is not English, one of the following methods of English testing is required:
- TOEFL score of 520 or above (190 computer based score / 68 internet based score)
- IELTS score of 6.5 (with no subscore <6)
- STEP Eiken score of grade 1 or pre-1
If your scores are below the above stated scores, you can contact our ESL department.
- SAT or ACT result.
- To have scores sent to Coe College, please use the following codes: TOEFL and SAT code number is 6101; ACT code number is 1294.
- A letter of recommendation from a school official who can address your academic performance and your potential.
- Complete an International Student Financial Statement and send that along with third party documentation of funds sufficient to cover your expenses at Coe. If you are applying for financial assistance, you must complete the International Student Financial Aid Application, as well.

Once you have been admitted for study at Coe College, you will receive a letter that describes the conditions of your acceptance, the total costs of attending Coe College and a deadline for submitting your deposit ($200.00 USD). The deposit is non-refundable and reserves your place in the incoming class, as well as your room in the residence halls.
Application Deadlines
Students who are applying for the Fall term, which begins in August, should have all their paperwork submitted by March 1st.
Students who are applying for the Spring term, which begins in January, should have all their documents submitted by October 1st.
