Elaine Rydze has been part of the teaching faculty since 1995. Her teaching specialities are adapted physical education, History of Sport in the United States, mastery teaching, theory of coaching track and field, activitiy courses and supervision of our student teachers.
Elaine also serves as the head men’s and women’s cross country coach and assistant track and field coach

Larry Atwater
B.A. Physical Education 1982, Coe College
M.A. Sport Administration 1988 Truman State University
Larry has been part of the faculty since 1990. He teaches administration of physical education / athletics, measurement and evaluation in human performance, theory of coaching football, mastery teaching, and numerous activity courses. Larry serves at the department chair and is also assistant football coach.

DeAnn Woodin

DeAnn teaches Foundations of Physical Movement, Nutrition, Group Exercise, Theory of Coaching Volleyball, and activity courses.
