Find Your Program
I live with my host mother, her 25-year-old son, Mario, her 19-year-old daughter, Tamara, and their cat, Nina. We live in a small neighborhood called La Marsella outside of San Jose. The house is one story, and we each have our own bedroom, all of which open into the living room area where we watch telenovelas, the news, and Grey's Anatomy together. The kitchen has a wide window that faces my mom's garden, which includes orchids and a banana and orange tree.

At Coe there are different sorts of study abroad programs. Short-term, long-term. Exchange and non-exchange. All have their own virtues. We can help you find your way to the program that's best for you. Fall of your sophomore year is the ideal time to come chat with the Director.
Things to consider:
- What is my foreign language background?
- Are there courses I need for my major?
- Do I need more support or more independence?
- How much do I want to stretch myself culturally?
