The Eloise Klersey Basler Vocal Music Scholarship was established in 1996 by her son, Wayne G. Basler.
It was his intention to honor his mother by funding this scholarship designed to provide an incentive for music students at Coe College who have a significant motivation to achieve excellence in the areas of vocal performance or vocal music education.
Eloise Klersey Basler graduated from Coe in 1928 and was a longtime, active participant, teacher and supporter of music in the Cedar Rapids community.
