Open to all students at Coe by audition, Crimson & Gold, under the direction of Dr. Marc Falk, offers students the opportunity to perform in a wide variety of vocal and choral styles. "The joy of singing in a small and versatile group," notes Falk, "is that we can change our focus each semester. Some semesters are dedicated to madrigals, others more to vocal jazz and pop, and in others we'll work on a specific program like we did for the kick-off of Coe's "Defining Moment" campaign." Crimson & Gold performs both on and off campus, and often participates with other Coe ensembles including the Concert Choir and Jazz Ensemble.
