Student Opportunities

  • Students organize, rehearse, and perform the Vagina Monologues annually in order to raise money for Waypoint.
  • The Coe Alliance hosts a yearly drag show, with performances by local drag kings and queens and students, to raise money for local lgtbq support communities.
  • MASA, Men Against Sexual Assault, work actively to create a climate at Coe that ensures safety for all.
  • Many of our gender studies students volunteer or complete internships at Waypoint, a local rape crisis center and domestic violence shelter. Training is also available to become a rape crisis advocate.
  • Capstone experiences allow students to work independently with faculty on projects and research of their own design.
