Frequently Asked Questions
Coe provides more than 90 percent of its students with some
form of financial aid. In addition to academic awards, the Music
Department's scholarship auditions enable prospective students
to compete for annual awards ranging from $1,000 to full tuition,
including:
- Marshall: Full-Tuition Scholarships for
students seeking a Bachelor of Music. Click

- Schauwecker: Partial-Tuition Scholarships,
renewable $4,000. Note: no special application form
is required in applying for Schauwecker Scholarships; the only
requirements are admission to the college and participation
in the Scholarship Competition in February.
- Basler Vocal Music Scholarships for Bachelor
of Music students in Vocal Performance or Vocal Music Education. Click

All scholarships are offered to students regardless of financial
need. Students do not have to major in music to receive a scholarship,
but they must participate in ensembles as assigned to
retain their scholarships for all four years at Coe.
