Dr. Buckaloo teaches American history, with special interests in twentieth-century politics and culture, foreign relations, particularly the Cold War and the Vietnam War, and Native American history. His present research is on the "Vietnam Syndrome."

Dr. Janus teaches modern European history, including Imperial Russian, Soviet, and East European history, and American Catholic history and culture. He currently is authoring a book on the topic of "Catholicism and Americanism."

Dr. Miyamoto teaches United States history, and her primary interests are women’s history, and the history of the American West. Her current research focuses on the concept of home and the ways that gender prescriptions affected society.

Dr. Nordmann teaches Western Civilization in addition to courses in East Asian history. His specialties include Meiji Japan, late nineteenth-century Korea, U.S.-East Asia relations and Asian-American history.
