| Description of Program |
Mid Sweden University was established in 1993 by the merging
of two smaller universities in the region. Students from Coe
usually study at Sundsvall or Östersund, two of the four
campuses operated by Mid Sweden. The university offers more
than 70 study programs to over 13,000 students, and the focus
is on four main discipline areas: management and education;
communication and humanities; science and engineering; and
health sciences and social work.
There is an active student life program for foreign students,
with a number of outside activities and opportunities to take
advantage of facilities within the two cities. Coe students
who have attended Mid Sweden have had majors in psychology,
public relations, communications, Asian studies, philosophy,
political science, and biology. |
