Business Administration Major

The major in business administration is designed to prepare you for graduate study or for a career in business. Coe, unlike many liberal arts institutions, has had a strong business administration faculty since the turn of the century. In their courses, faculty focus on teaching both theory and the application of that theory to business problems. The business administration major consists of 11 courses with at least two courses in accounting, two courses in economics, and one course each in business law, finance, management, marketing, and statistics. Using business electives, you can tailor your degree to emphasize your areas of interest.
