Managerial Accounting Major
The managerial accounting major was designed for students interested
in pursuing a career in private industry or the not-for-profit
sector by giving them a strong computer and managerial accounting
background. The curriculum will prepare students interested in
sitting for the Certified Management Accountant (C.M.A.) examination.
The managerial accounting major requires seven courses in accounting:
two principles courses, two intermediate courses, two managerial
accounting courses, one auditing course, and a computer application course. In addition, two economics courses, one business
law course, and one statistics course are required.
