ON THE COVER - Moved by the creation of an endowment in his honor, Heins-Johnson Professor of Biology Harlo Hadow has passed leadership of the Wilderness Field Station to Assistant Professor of Biology Jesse Ellis.

  • Flood fight
    While the Coe came together to help protect the city from a threatening flood, Ben Kaplan '10 eloquently described the love that develops between the college and Cedar Rapids.
  • Homecoming 2016
    With reunions, awards, renewed friendships and fun for all, Coe's Homecoming celebration was a huge success.
  • Funds from Australian bush secure Coe's Northwoods future
    This summer's reunion gathering at the Wilderness Field Station near Ely, Minnesota, was billed as a celebration of the changing of the guard. One field station veteran added a big shot in the arm for the facility's future.
