Commencement ceremony. Graduates
will ring the Victory Bell in front of Eby Fieldhouse and
then proceed across campus, escorted by the faculty, for
the start of commencement exercises on the Stewart Memorial
Library lawn. About 2,500 seats will be available on
chairs and bleachers. Family members may also bring
blankets or lawn chairs. Umbrellas and windbreakers
are strongly recommended in case of rainy or cool conditions.
The Coe Concert Band, under the direction of Dr. William
Carson, will perform starting at 9:30 a.m. In case
of inclement weather, the commencement ceremony will be held
in Eby Fieldhouse.
Graduates and their families will be honored at an outdoor
reception following commencement.
The commencement address will be given by Iowa Senator Tom
Harkin. |
