Graduation Weekend

Commencement 2016

You are cordially invited to attend graduation weekend 2018 at Coe College.
The schedule for the weekend is as follows:

Friday, May 4, 2018

2:30 p.m.

Commencement rehearsal on the Stewart Memorial Library Quad.

Saturday, May 5, 2018
(Tentative Schedule)

10 a.m.

Academic Honors Convocation in Dows Theatre.

Academic awards and prizes will be announced. This Convocation allows Coe to showcase student accomplishments for parents and friends.

1 p.m.

Nurses' Pinning Ceremony in Dows Theatre.

1:30 p.m.

Phi Beta Kappa Initiation in the Perrine Gallery of Stewart Memorial Library.

3 p.m.

Baccalaureate service in Sinclair Auditorium.

Graduating seniors attending Baccalaureate are asked to wear their caps and gowns and process into the auditorium with other members of the class and the faculty. Please line up between Marquis and Peterson Halls at 2:30 p.m. (if rain threatens, line up in the lower level of Marquis Hall). Your family and friends are also invited. This is not a mandatory event, but a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. The Coe Concert Choir will perform.

4 p.m.

President's reception in the Clark Alumni House.

Following Baccalaureate, a reception will be held for all graduating seniors and their families.

Sunday, May 6, 2018

7:30-9:30 a.m.

Breakfast is available in the Gage Memorial Union Dining Hall.

No reservations are needed. There will be no charge for Coe students. The breakfast cost is $6 for parents and visitors; $3 for children 10 years of age and younger.

10 a.m.

Commencement ceremony on the Stewart Memorial Library Quad.

The Coe Concert Band will perform starting at 9:30 a.m.

Following Commencement, graduates and their families and guests are invited to an informal reception in The "U" in Gage Memorial Union.
