"Retrospective" to feature work of Art Professor John Beckelman in opening Coe exhibit

The opening art show of the 2014-15 season at Coe College features an exhibition nearly four decades in the making by Robert O. Daniel Professor of Art John Beckelman. Thursday Forum resumes Sept. 4 for 2014-15

Coe College's Thursday Forum opens Sept. 4 with a virtual tour of 18th and 19th century Europe and ends April 23 with the illustrious French Gen. Charles de Gaulle. In between, the 2014-15 academic calendar touches on art studio organization; classic monster movies; John Milton's "Paradise Lost;" the Gospels of Mark, Matthew and Luke; and the history of money.
